The Southwest Florida Water Management District is one of five regional districts charged with preserving and protecting the resources in its jurisdiction through water resource development, regulations, and other programs.
The SWFWMD District Data Integration Project will provide a centralized, secure repository for the District’s scientific data. The data will be spatially enabled, where possible, and accessible from a variety of desktop and web-based applications, such as ArcGIS (ArcIMS, ArcInfo, ArcView), Microsoft Excel and Access, SAS and future custom applications. This project will assist the District in meeting its goal of scientific water resource management.
