Matrix helps the PGA stay in the swing with training, support, and programming services

Client: The PGA TOUR is a tax-exempt membership organization of professional golfers. In addition to providing competitive opportunities for its membership, PGA TOUR events also generate revenue for charitable causes in their communities.

Sponsored by PGA TOUR, the World Golf Foundation is a nonprofit corporation created by and representing major golf organizations throughout the world. Its mission is to honor the history of golf and achievements of its greatest individuals and to create entertaining and educational opportunities for both golfers and the general public to learn about the game and the positive values intrinsic to the game. It is comprised of four divisions, The World Golf Hall of Fame, The First Tee, Golf 20/20, and The National Minority Golf Foundation.

Challenge: Reduce the cost of IT while providing high quality services and quick response.

Solution: Since 1997, Matrix has provided IT consulting resources and services to help The PGA Tour, World Gold Hall of Fame, and The First Tee reduce fixed IT costs yet maintain high quality IT services to their internal and external clients and partners. Matrix’s application development expertise, customized on-site training classes and workshops, and technical support services help these organizations focus their efforts and resources on activities more directly related to carrying out their respective core missions.
